I was just trying to clear out the mess on my diner table when I noticed I had a stack of bills for all the books and cd's I order the last few months and I have been postponing to pay. Some books and cd's I have really enjoyed reading the last months. 

As most of us I have had a hate relationship with bills all my life. I must say that it has become easier the last years since I had more money to spend, but I always resented paying them. 
I am just listening to the Secret - I have the movie on my computer right now - and somehow I had a sudden inside into how to relate to paying bills in a way that is empowering and fulfilling. A way that gives me a sense that by paying the bill I really do something good for myself!
I know this may be hard to swallow for the most of us, but realize that nothing in the universe is in it's essence right or wrong or good or bad. It only gets that way by your decision! That company that send you the bill for the good or service didn't do that to annoy you or to make you feel bad. It does so to remind you of the good or service you received and that it is only logical that you should reciproce that.
This is the insight I had...
If you pay a bill you GIVE to the universe. Think about that. You are giving something to all that there is. With a emphasis on giving! 
For those who have seen the movie The Moses Code must know what I am talking about. The movie is about giving. But I sidetrack, back to my insight.
By giving you tell the universe that you LIKE TO GIVE. It is that simple! If you also express your gratefulness for the good or service you received -yes it is also about receiving not only giving- then you tell the universe that you like to give AND receive. The universe will reward you by giving you more means of giving and receiving, in essence bringing you more money! And that will enable you to receive more and give more, it becomes a growing cycle! And in the meantime you will get what you really want. Because -be honest- you can only be honestly gratefull for something you really enjoy having. 
Stop stopping this beautifull spiral of giving and receiving by hating to pay the bill, by postponing it! All that that brings you is less and less means of buying the goods and services you really want to receive! Stop doing that! Because it will create debt in your life, because you do want those goods and services!
The person in the movie the Secret that is still running on my pc as I am typing just said: "if it feels good the universe will bring you more of it". Amazing! That really sums up this insight into a new mindset around paying bills!
Be honestly and happily gratefull for the good or service that you received when you pay the bill and the universe will bring you more of it!
The more gratefull you are when paying the bill, the more the universe will multiply the sum that you pay and the sum it will return to you. Thus enabling you to give much more than the sum that you just payed! Think about that for a while...
Have fun giving and receiving and it will multiply in your life!
